Sorry Zhufor, it was not intentional. You can keep Karag Mor if you'd like but you'd have to change the history a little bit.

Yeah, would rather not change it. However, I got a question. Is it possible a new race is put into play? Specifically, Ogres? Ideas for Pro's and Con's.
Pro: Battle Hardened; Ogre Infantry have higher combat prowess. Con: Monstrous; Due to their monstrous size and their violent culture Ogre's have (insert fair number here) population decrease.

I thought about Ogres and Gnomes both, I'm not sure if it's viable enough to constitute Ogres as a whole race. I'll let the other members put in their two cents on it.
I'm ambivalent.

Theoretically we could put this in a post-WF2 setting, where that mage comes up of nowhere and ruins everything again.
And I don't suppose I could get major roads? There's a lot of pretty-good buildings that are 22 EP... gah.

20 or less Talis, sil'te plait. I chose 20 or less for a reason.

Lol. Anyways, yeah. Ogres would be fun or I could make a seaborne human society. That could be fun.

We need a Good aligned Human kingdom. Like, where's the kingdoms that rallied against Varinus. We need them! The Silvans didn't beat him alone! We need a huge Imperial Empire!

Well, I was planning on making a Piratical Slaver Nation. Does that work?

It could work, but as a kingdom with millions of people. I'm not sure if it can work or not.

Well, I was planning on making it Neutral anyways, not evil. However, it uses both Piracy and Slaves and idolizes skill in combat, so I don't know. Of course, I could argue that Varinus threatened their way of life and they fought against him more for themselves then anything.

I'm not worried about morality, but I'm not sure if a functional government of pirates could exist. You can always try, but the tried-and-true medieval kingdom will never fail. I always wanted to see an Aztec or Incan like civilization, or a Holy Roman Empire one, lots of German references, but that's just me.

Well, see, it's Government would be led by a Supreme Leader and a Council of Ship Captains. Wouldn't be super efficient but would work. Very militaristic as well.

You couldn't do a straight-up pirate nation, but you could do something vikingesque, or base it off the the north-african city-states if you wish. Those places had loads of pirates and raiders because their homelands weren't very prosperous, so they would raid and take what they wanted.

Ainrii (Talis) has it right. A Viking-esque or Phoenician-esque would be best.

The muslim city-states during the age of exploration would count too. Tripoli was once a major pirate's nest. There was a whole string of muslim city-states on the coast that had their backs to the desert, but were constantly raiding and plundering european shipping. There were something like a dozen wars to pacify those cities, but none of them ever fully succeeded.
