The later is exactly what I mean. It'd be a lot like the Barbary States. However, it'd be more militarist instead of just being simple bands of marauders. Kind of a combination of both.

First and so far the only artifact has been discovered. Haha. History of the World will tell you all about it. Bahaha.

Barbary states wold be very interesting, especially since those islands would make a great staging point. They're nice and hard to attack, but easy to reach the mainland from. Go for it.
And I'm kind of surprised you're sicking the Goblins on yourself Theo, especially since my kingdom will have been having skirmishes and small fights with the goblins ever since the war. Did you collaborate this?

Might I make a recommendation? If you're going with 3,000 per formation, change it from "Company" to "Regiment". A Regiment consists of about that many people while a Company consists of anywhere from 100 to 300 men.

alright then, I'll be importing the caliphate back here but I'll be readjusting the nation's history to suit the world history and all. It'll be either a neutral or good aligned nation, wasn't sure yet, either way I hope that my nation could be situated further west of the deadlands in that peninsula kinda land. Oh, and I might modified certain traits though.

Any ideas for a name for this Barbary States esque nation? I'm thinking Farwahi States or Dominion of Farwahi but I don't know. I tried to find what "Pirate" is in Farsi but Google Translate doesn't give me the phonetic version. :/

Farsaan is pirate in Arabic. Albald Alfarsaan would be The Pirate State. Almamlaka Alfarsaan would be The Pirate Kingdom if you prefer that instead. I can read Arabic (rudimentarily), so if you have any other words you need translated feel free to ask.

Glad to help.
And Theo, can we have 2 upgrades for the Old Kingdom racial advantage if their total cost would come to 20 or less?

Well technically it would just be Al'mamlak, since Farsaan is masculin, but that would be my mistake. It looks good, now don't mess with my elves or will smite you with unit spam and magic.

Okay, it's about time I brought in another medieval Survaek. Talis, you think Emperor Yvor the Reformer's empire would be Good or Neutral? Oh, and I also want that peninsula...but if you apply first, Merenaz, I'll find somewhere else fitting.

Wow, not a single good nation yet? That's kinda a bummer, you can count on me doing a good nation though so you'll eventually have at least one though I'm still debating on quite a lot of things here so you'll just have to wait and see.

Sweet action Tarcisius. We need like a massive Good nation. One that braved Varinus' hordes head on.
