How about Goblin Nation I mean they're not suppose to have an overabundance of intelligence, so rule number like 3 I read in a book is, and I quote 'Keep it simple st-pid' (though the next rule is keeping it simple is the hardest thing to do in the world so hey maybe the ppl who made those rules weren't to bright either LOL)
You really think a bunch of ppl are gonna go gunpowder? Saw it in the questions area but mine isn't a question just ramblings more or less anyway, I am definitely not going that route should I remake my kingdom bringing guns to sword fights...not kool; which I'm leaning towards because of the history and seeing as everyone else seems to be leaning towards that as well.
Not sure what race or what resources exactly though. Kinda difficult to choose those. Was thinking Dwarves with Furs (but RP explanation being some animal of the deep that would explain how they got furs and bank on getting Iron/Mithral/Stone through expansion and exploration) either that or Spices/Incenses or maybe gold idk definitely leaning towards dwarves again though.
Natural Predisposition is definitely another hard topic though I tend to play good guys unlike Ezria and his evil birds.

Looks good to me and it's gonna be a goblin oligarchy.

Hrm. If I'm going to do a neutral faction I'm going to have to be a bit more distant from the wastelands, or else a big enough faction to have defended myself. What alignment are your goblins, Cody?

Did you want to have some sort of shared history talis? Maybe my goblin tribes invaded your lands during the Great War?

I was actually thinking something like that. The idea for history I had is that, since my elves were neutral, they originally stayed out of the fight. They didn't really like Varinus, but they respected him. The "truce" breaks when his minions invade their land, which pisses them off.
From there I was thinking that they didn't join the alliance to defeat him, but they retaliated and invaded the land of one of his allies, which kept their army busy defending their lands instead of helping him during the great battle.
That could work with your goblins nicely, I think. They invade my elven lands late in the war, then the elves retaliate, drive them out, and attack the goblin lands. With their own defensive war they can't help Varinus during the last battle.
It would require your goblins getting a pretty sound smashing though, since they not only got driven back but invaded, and their entire army tied up. Let me know what you think.

Works for me, can we eventually say that the Elve's are driven back out of goblin lands and an unsteady peace now exists? We can have a bunch of bloody skirmishes going on in the intermediate period after the death of Varinus.

Works for me. The elves eventually get driven out and since Varinus is dead they decide it's not worth it to continue the fight. Their points been made and the threat's gone.
They might even do an about-face and start picking on any neighbors who weren't so intact after the war. . .

So can I simply import my nation from the original forum? If so would I still get all the constructs, armies and resources from previous rp?

Theo said yes to the first question, but I don't know about the second. I'm guessing not, although it would be highly amusing to see.

Hrm, I'm going to call the people ainrii, but I'm not sure what descriptor I'd use. They're an oligarchal caste-system, so something like "Empire" or "Kingdom" doesn't work well, but they are a unified state...
